Upgrade /repair of older DayStar ATM, University housing to new style Quantum Electronic Control housing.

Older style DayStar ATM or UNI housings date back to as early as 1973.  Original housings were 110VAC or 220 VAC and required a sine wave electrical current so they previously could not be used with 12VDC power from an inverter.   Electronic components in the older ATM housing style became obsolete in the mid 1990's.  DayStar Filters no longer services old ATM and UNI style 110VAC housing electronics. 

We now offer upgrade / replacement of the heater housing to our new Quantum Electronic Control housing.
Upgrade takes up to 3-4 weeks depending on stock levels and weather.
All filters serviced at DayStar require live on-the-sun testing and weather must be considered.
Shorter lead times are possible.

Please DO NOT open your filter yourself or attempt to perform any repairs on your own.  Irreparable damage can occur if the Daystar Filter optical compartment is opened outside the laboratory.

Quantum Housing Features:
Over the ambient temperature range of 0^o C. to 45^o C., the oven will control the on-band operational temperature to ± 0.1^o C. or equivalent to ± 0.02Å wavelength tracking.

Software: 
Compatible with Windows operating systems.  Requires 9-pin serial port. Program auto-detects filters connected to computer.  Quantum control software manages up to 4 Quantum filters simultaneously.
