Custom dual-band DayStar Filter designed and built by Dr. Alan Kiplinger. This 0.5Å DayStar filter transmits 2 different wavelengths simultaneously on different polar axis. A polarizing beamsplitter introduced behind the filter sends each wavelength image to a different camera for simultaneous imaging. See image later about dual band monitoring.
