The main heliostat at Sommers Bausch Observatory. This polar axis mounted heliostat aims light downward into the building below; to be used in the SCRIBS multi-spectrum educational display designed and built by Keith Gleason. An 8" F/15 Objective is mounted in a tube under protective cover glass inside the lower segment. |
