UMBRAL-A ON THE BEACH - This shaddow was from the umbra, not the umbrella. Sand temperatures read 128 degrees at first contact; but not to worry, they dropped to a mere 89 degrees by 3rd contact! So we will spend the next 18 months wishing our way back toward that next accidental rift in space as it streams across us once again.

This limited production of a 2,000 lei Total Eclipse Banknote is printed in full color on both sides on the first polymer banknote ever issued in Europe. Each bill has a two transparant windows; clear and pink, as well as individual numbering enclosed in commemorative protective sleeve.

Elazig, Turkey ~ Settled deep in the center of Muslem, Turkey found itself bombarded by thousands of tourists. As the only major town here to sit in the direct path of totality, call to prayer could be heard at first contact from the two neigboring Mosques.
