Comet Hyakutake 1996 (B)
Trying to hold very still... a self portrait with the comet located just above the telescope and Venus shining brightly over the observatory. Photographed by Vic Winter with a 20mm lens with a tripod exposure of 3 minutes on Fuji Super G 400 ASA Color Negative film. Exposure began at 10:15 p.m. C.D.T. on April 9th, 1996. Clear skies.
