Comet Hyakutake 1996 (B)
Venus shines brightly above the Pleiades with the comet in the western sky. Photographed by Vic Winter with a 50mm lens with an exposure of 5 minutes on Fuji Super G 400 ASA Color Negative film. Piggyback exposure began at 9:32 p.m. C.D.T. on April 9th, 1996. Clear skies. Location: Elmcrest Observatory located at Powell Botanical Gardens, east of Lone Jack, Missouri, USA.
