Comet Hyakutake 1996 (B)
Photographed by Vic Winter with a 30 inch f5 reflector telescope at prime focus with an exposure of 60 seconds on Fuji Super G 400 ASA Color Negative film pushed 1/2 of a stop. Guided exposure began at 9:37 p.m. C.S.T. on April 2nd, 1996. A bright, 4.1 magnitude star is in the frame. Clear skies, but slightly hazy. Moon 98% sunlit. Winds 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph. Location: Powell Observatory located 35 miles south of Kansas City, USA. (C)1996 Vic Winter.
