A youngster takes a look at the sun in the dedicated solar telescope.


ICSTARS President, Vic Winter helps a young observer.

A steady line moved along between shows at the theater. Viewers after
the 2:15 pm show got a treat as a ribbon flare erupted near the limb of the sun.

A dedicated solar telescope, the f30 "Yellowscope" showed off the sun in
the red light of Hydrogen- Alpha to more than 400 children and adults on
the afternoon of Saturday, January 20th, 2001.
