Totality with an 8mm Nikkor Fisheye
This eclipse was one of the darkest we have ever witnessed. Because of the virtually unobstructed horizon in all directions the "sunset" effect was greatly enhanced. Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Spica and Canopus were all seen naked eye during totality.
